Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–6 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Euro Garage at (908) 560-0200; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Customers rate it 5.0 out of 5 on Google across 101 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded auto repair shops in Princeton.

Princeton is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Princeton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

If you’re tired of dealer markups, go see Mateo at Euro Garage. I had a persistent front-end noise on my 2013 Lexus that I'd been dealing with since early 2025. Lexus of Bridgewater gave me an insane quote, but Mateo immediately pinpointed the actual mechanical cause. He’s real straightforward, easy to talk to, and willing to work with you on pricing and repair options. He saved me thousands of dollars and a ton of headache, he's the real deal and I would definitely recommend him for you.

I had an excellent experience with Mateo at the service center on State Road in Princeton. He was extremely efficient, polite, and professional throughout the entire process. He made sure my car was taken care of promptly and correctly. Outstanding customer service like Mateo's is hard to find these days. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and courteous service advisor. Thank you, Mateo, for making the experience so smooth and stress-free!

Mateo has been very honest and fair with all of his pricing and does quality work, i had a boost leak in a few lines on both of my turbos for my 2021 c63s that i have been dealing with since purchasing the vehicle in October 2025, mercedes of princeton was not able to locate the exact issue or give a diagnosis after 2 weeks of the vehicle being there. I ended up bringing it to euro garage and mateo immediately had a few ideas for why i was having these issues and ended up saving me multiple thousands of dollars and hours vs me keeping it at mercedes to have the work done. I would highly recommend him for any german vehicle work you need, as i now use him for my personal and commercial vehicles.

BMW dealer suggested I replace a part to help with my Suspension in which I have in writing and email. Turns out it was the wrong part even the wrong side. Euro was able to check my car, address the issue, got me pricing with an estimated time frame to when it’ll be complete. Fraction of the price and super job well done. Kudos to Euro garage, for listening understanding and for getting my suspension feeling brand new again. 07 bmw 328xi on the prowl. Thanks again will be back 💯!

After being recommended by the previous owner of my 330i, Mateo and his crew have taken very good care of me. They will do their absolute best to go that extra mile for you in a pinch. Fairest pricing I've ever seen from a mechanic. My turbo had a bad whine and needed a service, it ended up being a minor issue with hoses. Simple and quick fix for them and they were completely transparent. These are very honest and knowledgeable mechanics. Also great with aftermarket mods. 10 stars.
